Applying Gel Color Nail Polish Instead Of Regular Paint

One of the things most females are militant about is their matte nail polish. Without a solid coat of color on their hands they often feel unprepared or not ready to go out. The problem with most treatments such as traditional acetone paint is that they do not survive on the nail very long and require constant care. Hands are used for almost everything, and attempting to protect the nails from contact is an impractical thing to do. If a person wants a salon manicure to last until a specific event, they often have to wait until shortly before to have it done so that it stays complete.

The remedy to all of these issues is the use of gel color nail polish. A long time of testing and research has developed a paint that sticks to the nail completely without flaking. In fact, a downside to the product is that it lasts too long and can only be taken off by a nail technician. This illustrates just how hard-wearing the coat is in daily life. This makes the product perfect for those who have to be rough with their hands in their job.

An individual should not apply their own gels like they would with other paints. This is down to the shaping and painting techniques that are needed for the paints. They need to be painted, set, buffed and shaped using special equipment, patience and knowledge of the techniques needed. This whole procedure costs around $40 in total, which is only a minimal amount more than a regular color nail polish manicure would cost. This cost works out as very worthwhile as it lasts longer, looks better and feels much more robust on the nail.

The design of these nail polishes has undergone a sequence of changes over the last few years. Substances such as formaldehyde and methylpyrrolidone have been removed to make the product safer. These are suggested to be bad for the condition of the nail and for the health of the person wearing the varnish. Products like OPI no longer require buffing or primer coats and match Shellac in their ease of application and removal. Where gels were once stubborn and harsh on nails, they are now simple to use, gentle and impressive in appearance.

Selecting a salon for the first time to carry out this technique should be done carefully to make sure they are accredited and qualified to use the polish. Although the gels are completely safe when correctly used, they are harmful when applied wrongly.
